Ann K. Schattauer

Ann K. Schattauer, 91, of Mars, passed away on Friday morning, Nov. 5, 2021, at Family Hospice in Pittsburgh.

Born Sept. 14, 1930, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Kiesling Kutscher.

Ann was a member of LifePointe Alliance Church.

Surviving are her three children, Thomas (Colleen) Schattauer of Butler, Beth (Dave) Covaleski of Mars and Betty (Earl) Burr of Mars; her grandchildren, Ben Pearson, Adam Pearson, Robert Schattauer, Sarah (Mike) Schattauer, Emmalee (Lawrence) Herndon and Andrew (Lindsay) Covaleski; and her great-grandchildren, Emma and Luke Pearson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, G. Louis Schattauer, whom she married on June 23, 1956, and who died on March 25, 1993; and a grandson, Jonathan Covaleski.

SCHATTAUER — Friends of Ann K. Schattauer, who died Friday, Nov. 5, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at LifePointe Alliance Church, 997 PA-228, Mars.

Burial will be in Mars Cemetery, Adams Township.
