David Alworth
David Mark Alworth, 56, of Eldorado, Parker, passed away Wednesday morning, Nov. 24, 2021, at his residence following a courageous battle with ALS.
Born in Butler, on July 31, 1965, he was son of David L. Alworth of Eldorado and Kathy Anthony Scheehle of Parker.
Mark was a graduate of Allegheny-Clarion Valley School District and attended welding courses through the vo-tech.
Among his employments, he had worked at the former Fuchs Industrial Colloids of Emlenton, Stair Masters at Butler and in maintenance at Chicora Medical Center.
He was protestant by faith.
Mark was involved with the Parker City Volunteer Fire Department from his days as a junior fireman and as an adult, and was also a member of Emlenton VFD. It is worthy to note that Mark served over 35 years as a member of PCVFD and held many offices in the organization.
Surviving are his wife, Kristine “Kris” Smith Alworth, whom he married Oct. 7, 1989; son, Taylor (Emily) Alworth of Parker; daughter, Stephanie (Jeremy Goetzinger) Irwin of Texas; three grandchildren, Adiah Stemmerich, and Rowen and Madi Alworth; father and wife David L. and Rhonda Alworth of Eldorado; mother and husband, Kathy and William “Bill” Scheehle of Parker; brother and wife Mike and Melissa Alworth of Parker; sister and husband, Michelle and Jeff Davis of Eldorado; mother-in-law and husband, Pat and Bill Young of Emlenton; also survived by relatives Kathy Merchant and Jerry Smith of Colorado, Doug Smith of Texas, and John and Shannon Young of Oil City. Mark is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Mark was preceded in death by granddaughter, Lilly Alworth; maternal grandparents, Walter and Blanche Anthony; and paternal grandparents, Jim and Edith Alworth.
Alworth — Visitation for David Mark Alworth, who died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021, will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 S. Wayne Ave., Parker, where funeral services will be held at 8:15 p.m.
PCVFD will conduct Firemen’s Memorial Service at 6 p.m. in the funeral home.
