Paul Arensberg Jr.

Paul Arensberg Jr.

Mr. Paul R. Arensberg Jr., 78, of Portersville is at peace now. He passed away Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, after a brave battle against cancer.

Paul was born in Pittsburgh on April 14, 1943, to the late Paul R. and Audrey (Luff) Arensberg.

He worked in roofing for many years, was a talented carpenter, and retired from his maintenance position at the Station Square Sheraton Hotel after 29 years of service. Paul was reserved, thoughtful, and funny. He loved his family more than they could have known. He enjoyed going on long drives, watching old westerns, fishing, and playing video and computer games. He taught his grandchildren how to play Donkey Kong and Mario 64. He loved to collect different gadgets and was always excited to offer someone a coffee fresh from the Keurig. He made the best homemade soups, German potato salad, and pumpkin pies. He loved to listen to other people's stories and was always making others laugh with a next-level “dad joke.”

Remembering him with love are his wife of 59 years, Bernadette (Ginley) Arensberg; his children, Lynn (Brian Krebs) Sudano of Ellwood City and Paul (Jen) R. Arensberg III of Portersville; his grandchildren, Jamie (Tom Austin) Sudano of Hermitage, Dan (Lizzy) Sudano of Washington, Paul (Michelle) R. Arensberg IV of Butler, Ashley (Tyler) Arensberg, Richie (Kimberly) Arensberg, and Samantha Arensberg, all of Portersville; his great-granddaughter, Esme; his siblings, Joyce (Rich) Kassouf of Uniontown, Audrey (Mike) Maffei of South Park, and Jim Arensberg of Portersville, several nephews, and Ross Sudano and Veronica Arensberg, who were always family to him.

He has been reunited with his parents, his brother, Bobby Arensberg, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

ARENSBERG JR. — Visitation for Mr. Paul R. Arensberg Jr., who died Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at SAMUEL TEOLIS FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY.
