Joseph Paul Kisiel

Joseph Paul Kisiel, 51, of Fairview, passed away suddenly on Sunday, Dec. 5, 2021.

He was born Sept. 6, 1970, in Butler, and was a son of the late Joseph Leo and Elaine Iva Krebs Kisiel.

Joseph was a 1989 graduate of Butler High School, and a 1993 graduate of Gannon University, where he met the love of his life.

He currently was employed at the VA Medical Center as a medical laboratory scientist.

Joseph was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, cheering on the Steelers every Sunday. He enjoyed music, playing the guitar, fishing, tennis and cheering on his kids playing their favorite sport. Joseph enjoyed spending time with his family, who meant the world to him.

He was a member of St. Jude Church.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Jeanne Miller Kisiel; three children. Andrew Joseph, Emma Lynn and Nathan Samuel Kisiel; two brothers, James Kisiel of Los Angeles, Calif., and William Kisiel (Jacquie) of Rehoboth, Del.; and many nieces and nephews.

KISIEL — Friends of Joseph Paul Kisiel, who died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2021, may call from 1 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, 3801 W. 26th St., Erie.

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Jude Church, 2801 W. 6th St., Erie.

Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
