Herold

Glenn L. Herold, 78, of Butler, passed away on Jan. 13, 2022, at Sugar Creek Rest.

Born May 31, 1943, in Tarentum, he was the son of Francis Herold and May Heade Herold.

Glenn was a self-employed building contractor, and was owner of Herold's Kettlecorn, which he started in 1998.

He was a member of Cranberry Community U.P. Church.

He enjoyed hunting, wood carving and RVing.

Surviving are his wife, Florence (Leonard) Herold, whom he married Aug. 2, 1963; two sons, Douglas Herold of Butler and Brian (Natalie) Herold of Butler; and two sisters, Janet (Robert) Green of Largo, Fla., and Nancy Boyd of Amherst, N.Y.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Richard Herold; and his daughter-in-law, MaryAnn Herold.

HEROLD — Arrangements for Glenn L. Herold, who died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022, are under the direction of FOX FUNERAL HOME, Saxonburg.

Interment will be in the Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
