Shawn E. Chapman

Shawn E. Chapman, 46, of Cranberry Township, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021, at Cranberry Place.

Born May 19, 1975, in Muncy, Pa., he was the son of Patricia Ann Lovell Loner and the late Walter Eugene Chapman.

Shawn worked in IT for Bayer Corp. for almost 20 years.

He was an active member at Dutilh United Methodist Church.

He loved hunting, fishing, woodworking, running, gardening, canning, cooking, barbequing and smoking meats. He was a foamer, he “enjoyed traveling to watch trains with his sons at Horseshoe Curve.” He also parent-coached his son's baseball teams, and helped guide his sons in Cub Scouts over the years.

Surviving are his wife, Cassandra “Casey” Crowe Chapman, whom he married on Aug. 17, 2002; his children, Mason and Morgan Chapman; his mother, Patricia Loner of Montoursville; his sister, Michelle Loner; his stepsisters and stepbrothers; and his mother-in-law, Sherry Crowe.

He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

CHAPMAN — Friends of Shawn E. Chapman, who died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

At the request of the family, masks are required. Please keep your visit brief to allow everyone to pay their respects.

Private burial will be in Dutilh Cemetery, Cranberry Township.
