Paintings available at Cranberry library
CRANBERRY TWP – The Cranberry Public Library, 2525 Rochester Road, is featuring the work of local artist Sal Greco through January.
Greco has donated a number of his latest paintings for display at the library.
Library patrons are able to take a piece of Greco's artwork from the library's display window, free of charge.
Patrons who would like to take a piece of artwork can simply ask a clerk at the circulation desk.
Greco is a proponent of up-cycling, giving new life to discarded wood or logs found on the forest floor. He has never purchased new wood for a project.
His latest project consists of "touchable" mini paintings, which he paints on reclaimed wood.
