Stamm

Carol A. Stamm, 80, of Butler, passed away on Jan. 18, 2022, at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on Sept. 4, 1941, in Oakland Township, Butler County, and was the daughter of the late Thomas J. Simpson Jr. and Marian (Wilkewitz) Simpson.

Carol graduated from Butler Senior High School in 1959.

She worked for several local firms as a secretary and typist, and was also employed by ServiStar in East Butler, on a temporary or on-call basis for many years.

Carol enjoyed the outdoors, and especially liked trail walks, canoeing and camping with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Donald E. Stamm, whom she married on Oct. 21, 1960; her son, Corey D. Stamm of Butler; one sister, Sarah Louise (Simpson) Somerville Bush; and two nephews, Tom Somerville and Kent Somerville.

STAMM — At the request of the family, all services will be private and at the convenience of the family for Carol A. Stamm, who died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022.
