CENTER TWP — Chris Litzer has worked at Texas Roadhouse at the Clearview Mall for 12 years, and had never experienced a situation similar to what happened Tuesday evening.
At around 6:30 p.m., Litzer, the restaurant’s kitchen manager, got a call from the owner who told him the restaurant should be locked down because police were responding to a nearby shooting.
Police were called to the Rural King at the Clearview Mall that evening for reports of at least one victim with a gunshot wound in the parking lot. Police arrested Carlos Gonzalez Carril, 24, of Butler later than night in relation to the incident. According to charging documents, around 6:30 p.m. Gonzalez Carril fired a gun from his car into another vehicle and wounded three people.
