Mary Ann Hein

Mary Ann Hein, 90, of Butler, passed away Friday morning, Dec. 17, 2021, while residing at the Sunnyview Home.

Born Jan. 20, 1931, in Herman, she was a daughter of the late John W. Conrad and Ida M. (Portman) Conrad.

Mary Ann was a 1950 graduate of Butler High School and had been a homemaker. She was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Conrad Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed and had been an excellent cook, also was very involved in her children's lives and activities as they had grown up.

Surviving is her husband, Harry J. Hein Sr., whom she married May 11, 1955; her children, Harry J. “Butch” Hein Jr., Cindy (Kevin) Lindsay, Richard Hein, Margie (Charles) Williams, Tommy Hein and Jim Hein; six grandchildren, Jennifer (Joe) Smith, Corey Lindsay, Mandy Williams, C.J. (Stephanie) Williams, Jerry (Jess) Williams and Brittany Ann (D.J.) McCorry; 13 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Rose Marie Grossman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Alice McGinnis, Claire Donahue, Joe Conrad, Agnes Lehnerd, Fr. Adrian Conrad, Helen Leinenbach, Evelyn Gall, Jim Conrad, John “Buck” Conrad and Sue Klotz.

Hein — Friends of Mary Ann Hein, who died Friday, Dec. 17, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St., Butler.

A blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home. The Rev. John Baver will officiate.

Interment will be in St. Mary's Parish Cemetery in Herman.
