The new Butler County Humane Society's Executive Director Cari Ciancio has 14 years of experience in animal welfare, and is excited to work with the Butler community.

The Butler County Humane Society has named Cari Ciancio as its new executive director.

Ciancio, a Pittsburgh native, brings 14 years of experience in animal welfare to the position. She previously served as director of operations at the Humane Animal Rescue in Pittsburgh.

Cindy Cipoletti, co-president of the Humane Society board, said they are thrilled to welcome Ciancio to the team.

“Having (Ciancio) at the helm to lead our dedicated staff and volunteers will be essential as we continue to grow and serve the Butler County community,” Cipoletti said.
