Sentence Court

The following defendants were sentenced Thursday in Butler County Common Pleas Court by Judge Kelley T. Streib.

David Mitchell Cooper, 20, of Sarver, was sentenced to serve 60 months of probation after pleading guilty to a charge of terroristic threats, concurrently serve 24 months of probation after pleading guilty to a charge of simple assault, and complete 100 hours of community service. State police filed the charges following a July 13, 2020, incident.

Kierra Joan Boyd, 22, of Natrona Heights, was sentenced to serve six months of probation including seven days of house arrest, pay a $1,000 fine and complete eight hours of litter pickup and a victim impact panel after pleading guilty to her first driving under the influence offense. State police filed charges following a Feb. 25, 2021, incident. In addition, she was sentenced to consecutively serve 60 months of probation including 105 days of house arrest, pay a $1,500 fine and complete 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to her second DUI, which was filed by state police on Feb. 3, 2021.

George Thomas Martin III, 21, of Foxburg, was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation after he pleaded guilty to a charge of recklessly endangering another person and consecutively serve another 12 months of probation after pleading guilty to a charge of propulsion of missiles on to a roadway. Adams Township police filed the charges following June 12, 2021, incident.

Zackary Jonathan-Tyler Woomer, 23, of Warren, Ohio, was sentenced to serve 24 months of probation and pay $3,242 in restitution to Dollar Bank after pleading guilty to a charge of theft by deception filed by Penn Township police following a June 8, 2019, incident.

Bradley Stev Wainwright, 29, of Evans City, was sentenced to serve six months of probation including 14 days of house arrest, pay a $1,000 fine and complete 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a charge of DUI filed by state police following a Nov. 1, 2021, incident.

Harvey J. Berry, 49, of Cabot, was sentenced to serve 30 to 60 days in prison, but was immediately paroled, 12 months of probation and complete 25 hours of community service, and was prohibited from buying firearms after pleading guilty to a charge of unsworn falsification to authorities filed by state police following a July 1, 2021, incident.

Nathan David Leasher, 35, of Harmony, was sentenced to serve three months of probation after pleading guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct filed by Jackson Township police following a Nov. 20, 2020, incident.

Cheayne Kay Chandler, 27, of Leeper, was sentenced to serve 24 months of probation and pay $1,412 in restitution after pleading guilty to a charge of fraud to obtain food stamps or assistance filed by the state Office of State Inspector following a Jan. 1, 2017, incident.

Harry Lindsey Hartzell, 56, of Butler, was sentenced to serve nine to 23 months and 15 days in prison after pleading guilty to a charge of simple assault filed by state police following a June 10, 2021, incident, and concurrently serve 30 days to six months in prison for indirect criminal contempt of court stemming from a family court case.

Nicholas David Stone, 34, of Gibsonia, was sentenced to serve 60 months of probation, including three months in prison, followed by nine months of house arrest, pay a $2,500 fine and complete eight hours of litter pickup after pleading guilty to operating watercraft with the highest rate of alcohol - third offense - filed by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission following a May 24, 2020, incident.

Brian Edward Riffle, 30, of South Greensburg, was sentenced to serve six months of probation including seven days of house arrest, pay a $500 fine and complete eight hours of community service after pleading guilty to a charge of DUI filed by state police following a Dec. 6, 2020, incident.

Nicole Noel McCabe, 38, of Butler, was sentenced to serve six months of probation including seven days of house arrest, pay a $500 fine and complete 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a charge of DUI filed by state police following a Feb. 27, 2021, incident.

Alexander Scott Hohbach, 34, of West Pittsburgh, was sentenced to serve six to 23 months and 15 days, but immediately was paroled after pleading guilty to a charge of terroristic threats filed by state police following an April 30, 2021, incident.

Amanda Trim, 35, of Sarver, was sentenced to serve six months of probation and pay $265 in restitution to Sprankle’s Neighborhood Market after pleading guilty to a charge of theft filed by Saxonburg police following a July 5, 2021, incident.

David James McGiffin, 25, of Sligo, was sentenced to serve 30 to 72 months in state prison after pleading guilty to a charge of prohibited possession of a firearm filed by Butler Township police following a Feb. 10, 2021, incident.

Mackenzie Aaron Chambers, 30, of Chambersburg, was sentenced to serve 12 to 30 months in state prison after pleading guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver filed by Butler City police following a Oct. 17, 2020, incident. He was given credit for having served 467 days in prison.

Tammy Lee Macefe, 52, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 28 to 72 months in state prison after pleading guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver filed by state police following a Sept. 30, 2020, incident. She was given credit for having served 208 days in prison.
