Due to winter storm Landon, most area school districts are closed today.

Two Butler County school districts, Butler Area and Slippery Rock Area, are closed without remote instruction.

The others in Butler County, Karns City, Mars, Moniteau, Seneca Valley, South Butler County, Freeport and Union report having a remote or flex instruction day.

The Butler County Area Vocational-Technical School is also closed with remote instruction.

Slippery Rock University and Butler County Community College have announced announced moving to remote instruction Friday, too.
