Butler County offers plenty of ways to stay occupied while you eagerly await Super Bowl Sunday.
On Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Butler Art Center, the latest watercolor exhibit, Color My World, will be on display for the first time. A reception will be held during that time, where the public can browse the work and mingle with the artists.
Hoping for some outdoor, winter family fun? The Butler AM Rotary Carved in Ice festival will take place at Diamond Park from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Live ice carving, a kids ice slide, food, entertainment and games will be available during various times throughout the weekend. Tokens Arcade, 18 Chesapeake St. in Lyndora, will hold its first Sweetheart Pinball Tournament at 1 p.m. Saturday. Couples can preregister for $15 or $20 the day of the event. Prizes will be awarded to the top three couples.
The fifth annual Cupid’s Chase 5K will start at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lake Arthur Golf Club. The race is one of many taking place around the country supporting Community Options, whose mission is to help those with disabilities. Those interested in registering have until Friday and can visit the Butler Cupid's Chase 5k 2022 Facebook event.
