The seventh annual Matt Graf Golf Outing will be June 10 at Pittsburgh North Golf Club, 3800 Bakerstown Road in Bakerstown.

With the assistance of the HM3 Partners Independence Fund in Gibsonia, the annual event was established in 2015 by Katie and Tom Graf, Matt’s parents, to honor their late son.

Proceeds from the golf outings are used to provide educational scholarships to Pine-Richland students, support to Pine-Richland school booster groups and for donations to various community causes. To date, nearly $83,000 in proceeds from the Matt Graf Golf Outings has been distributed.

“The Graf family is very grateful to the many generous sponsors, golf participants and volunteers who have supported this event over the years,” Katie Graf, who organizes the event, said in a statement. “It’s always a great feeling to spend the day with our many friends, and it is a reminder of how special the Pine and Richland communities are.”

Golfer registration includes both golf and dinner. Reservations for those who just wish to attend the dinner are also available, as are various sponsorship levels. The event has sold out each year, so early registration is recommended.
