Slippery Rock Twp. uses funds for truck, road project

Slippery Rock Township’s board of supervisors voted at a meeting Monday night to use some American Rescue Plan funds for a pickup truck and a road project on Arrowhead Drive.

The township received a total of $321,375 and expects the same amount in July of this year, according to supervisor Paul Dickey.

The board voted to purchase a Ford Ranger pickup truck for the township for $29,535 with the funds. Dickey said the new truck could take a year to receive.
