Butler County Coroner William F. Young III confirmed Wednesday that there was a fatal vehicle crash around 6:40 p.m. on Portman Road near Route 422 in Summit Township.

A Butler County dispatcher said state police, Herman Volunteer Fire Company, East Butler Volunteer Fire Company and East Butler ambulance responded to the scene of the crash.

No further details on who was killed in the crash or whether others were injured were available.
