Butler County under flood warning through Wednesday morning
Butler County is under a flood warning until Wednesday morning.
The National Weather Service issued a flood warning for the county through 7 a.m. Wednesday with rain in the forecast for the remainder of the afternoon and tonight.
A quarter to a half inch of precipitation is possible this afternoon followed by a tenth to a quarter inch tonight, according to the National Weather Service in Pittsburgh. Most of the rain is expected to end by 10 p.m.
The forecast also calls for winds of 13 to 15 miles per hour with gusts up to 25 or 26 miles per hour today and tonight.
Temperatures will reach a high of 39 Wednesday in advance of a wintry mix of snow and rain Thursday, and snow Friday.
