KC Ambulance receives donation from local business
Karns City Regional Ambulance Service has received a $2,500 donation from local petroleum refiner Sonneborn.
The donation will contribute to paying off the loan on the new ambulance put into service this year, said Kandi Nassy, secretary of the service’s board.
“We just put the new unit into service, I think we’re close to halfway through the loan,” she said.
Sonneborn has been a great supporter of the service, according to Nassy.
“We’re very grateful, they’ve been good at trying to support us so we can keep our doors open and provide service,” she said. “It’s a community thing and they’re looking out for the community.”
