Debra K. Thompson, 59, of Adams Township, formerly of Butler, passed away suddenly on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022.

She was born Sept. 23, 1962, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late Robert F. Wick Sr. and the late Katherine (Francis) Wick.

Debbie was a graduate of Butler High School and Butler County Community College School of Nursing.

She was proud to be a retired nurse, having worked at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh and Butler Hospital. Debbie had an entrepreneurial spirit, and had recently started an exceptionally successful skin care business, The Finer You.

She enjoyed spending time at the beach, and taking walks in the woods around her home. Above all else, Debbie's life revolved around loving and spending time with her family, including her dog, Katie.

She is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Thompson; her children, Jeanne Simon of Mars, Sean McDonald of Pittsburgh, Kelley (Eric) Schnur of Valencia, and Christopher Thompson of Rochester, Pa.; her brothers, Bob (Linda) Wick Jr. of Butler, Jim Wick of Florida, and Dan Wick (Daniela) of Florida; her grandchildren, Tommy, William and Mackenzie; and her nephews, Bobby (Chelsie) Wick of Butler, and Luis Wick of Florida.

THOMPSON — Friends of Debra K. Thompson, who died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022, will be received from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.

Funeral services will be held immediately following at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
