New businesses coming to Cranberry Woods
CRANBERRY TWP — More businesses are on their way to Cranberry Township.
Township supervisors Thursday approved a plan to add a gas station, day care, drive-through bank and restaurant to the Village of Cranberry Woods, located south of Route 228.
The new businesses would be erected between Longtree Way on the south and Route 228 on the north, close to the Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh/Cranberry.
Included in the new construction will be a Sheetz gas station, at an address of 1664 Route 228. According to the plans provided to Cranberry, it will have entrances on both the eastern and western ends, connecting to Garden View Lane. Garden View, in turn, will be extended from its current terminus near the hotel to Route 228, providing motorists another route to turn right both into and out of the village.
Next to the Sheetz will be a drive-through bank, the name of which was not provided to Cranberry. South of the bank will be an indoor day care facility with a fenced-in, outdoor playground. West of the day care facility, the village will include a retail space, although the tenant was not yet named.
Cranberry supervisors additionally approved the addition of an 8,750-square foot restaurant to the Village of Cranberry Woods. The space will be occupied by Cenci’s Pizza, which currently has a location at the junction of Cranberry Woods Drive and Longtree Way.
The new building, which will be located at 3005 Fairport Lane, is close to the other additions to the village approved Thursday but north of the hotel.
