Storm knocks out power to 3,800 in county
Hundreds of people throughout Butler County lost power at around 4:15 p.m. Monday when a storm rolled through the area.
West Penn Power reported at 5:45 p.m. that about 3,800 customers were without power, with estimates that it would be restored around 9 p.m.
The storm also knocked down trees and utility poles, and crews responded to two large trees down on Route 8 near Armco Drive.
