Laura Lynskey

Laura H. (Kanoza) Lynskey, 89, of Monroeville, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022.

Born on July 2, 1932, she was the wife of the late Thomas J. Lynskey for 58 loving years, and the daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Kon) Kanoza.

Laura graduated from Carnegie High School as the salutatorian in 1950, and then spent her working years as an interior decorator and a homemaker.

She is survived by her children, Thomas G. (Kelly) Lynskey, Mark J. (Karen) Lynskey, James R. Lynskey, Matthew H. (Jennifer) Lynskey and Gerard K. (Barbara Blue) Lynskey; and her grandchildren, Tommy, Mike (Drew), Megan, Danny, Michele, Melissa, Jennifer, Brent, Matthew, Timothy, Isaac, Lydia, Clayton and Eli.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

LYNSKEY — Friends of Laura H. (Kanoza) Lynskey, who died Saturday, March 5, 2022, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, Monroeville/Plum Chapel, 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish-St. Bernadette Church, 245 Azalea Dr., Monroeville.

Interment will follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish-St. Bernadette Church, 245 Azalea Drive, Monroeville, PA 15146.
