Snow to hit county Friday night
Butler and surrounding counties could see three to six inches of snow this weekend, according to a winter weather advisory from the National Weather Service of Pittsburgh.
The advisory begins at 10 p.m. Friday and continues until noon Saturday.
The forecast calls for a possibility of rain a little before 9 p.m. and one to three inches of snowfall from 9 to 11 p.m. In the early hours of the morning Saturday, chance of snow decreases to 80% with a possible accumulation of an inch.
Temperatures will drop from 52 degrees during the day and 19 degrees tonight as snow rolls in.
Due to snow accumulation, the National Weather Service advised using cautionary driving.
