County Task Force arrests, charges 2 following bust

The Butler County Drug Task Force arrested two men following a Friday morning bust in Butler.

Following the bust at around 11:10 a.m. on American Avenue, police arrested Jonathan M. Perez, 19, of Youngstown, Ohio, and charged him with selling drugs.

In addition to three felony counts of drug sales, Perez is also charged with felony criminal conspiracy and misdemeanor drug possession.

Police also arrested Mark A. Sowa, 62, of Butler, who they say allowed Perez to sell drugs from his home. He is charged with felony criminal conspiracy and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession.
