Seneca Valley hosts teen specialist
“The Power of One Caring Adult” will be presented from 6:30 to 8 p.m. April 5 at Seneca Valley Intermediate High School.
The free event, which will be hosted by author Josh Shipp, also will be simultaneously livestreamed at Butler Intermediate High School and Slippery Rock High School.
In addition to authoring two books on teenagers, Shipp is a professional speaker, global youth empowerment expert and former at-risk foster kid turned youth advocate.
Shipp is known for the A&E Network documentary series “Teen Trouble,” which followed his groundbreaking work with youth and families.
The moving and inspiring presentation is sure to affect parents, teachers and teens who attend, according to a news release from Seneca Valley.
Shipp will hold a question-and-answer session after the presentation.
No reservations are required to attend.
