Students collecting donations for Ukrainian refugees

Mars Area High School Enrichment Club will hold a donation drive to benefit those affected by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

The club will collect bandages, blankets, diapers, toiletries, paper plates, personal hygiene products, dry pet snacks, phone chargers, plastic silverware, rain coats, tea, coffee and other items through April 1.

High school students can place donations in the marked boxes in their homerooms. All other donations may be dropped off during school hours at the school’s main office. Donations will be delivered to the Rankin Croatian Home in Braddock, after which the items will be shipped to Poland.

For more information, contact Gail Quigley, club adviser, at 724-625-1581.
