Brady Twp. to hold special meeting to deal with resignations
Brady Township supervisors will discuss advertising for three newly vacated positions at a special meeting Monday evening.
According to former secretary Kristina McCullough, the resignations of a supervisor, the assistant secretary and herself occurred after the previous meeting March 16.
The remaining two supervisors will need a motion to advertise and have those positions filled.
“(It’s a) hostile work environment,” said McCullough of why she resigned. “And it’s not because of the supervisors.”
Previous township meetings have been marked by tension surrounding the completion of the new township building at 131 West Liberty Road. Residents in attendance often question the supervisors on certain costs regarding the building, saying “hundreds of thousands of dollars have already been spent” on a building that won’t be ready to hold primary elections between its relocation and current construction.
The meeting will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday at 131 West Liberty Road.
