Robert W. Brooks, 81, of Renfrew, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022.

He was born in Pittsburgh, on May 6, 1940, and was the son of the late Walter and Myrtle Brooks.

Robert was employed by Kmart for decades and even helped in opening the first Kmart.

He loved fishing, golf, basketball and dogs. He absolutely loved his dog, Missy. Robert was also known to be very family-oriented.

He was the beloved husband of Donna Brooks since their marriage on Nov. 27, 1964; and father of Robert (Dawn) Brooks, Garry (Michelle) Brooks and William (Andrea) Brooks.

He is also survived by five grandchildren.

Robert was preceded in death by his brother, John Brooks.
