Pennsylvania State Police encourage Butler County residents to be safe and alert driving during the holiday weekend, according to a news release.

During the Easter weekend, police will be conducting enforcement and prevention procedures for those driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances.

Checkpoints on roads determined to have repeated DUI offenses will be set up for the safety of Butler County.
