Bikes & BBQ to return this summer
Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau has announced plans to host the second annual Butler Bikes & BBQ from July 22-24 at the Butler Farm Show Grounds on Route 68.
The family-friendly event will feature a variety of motorcycles, food and merchandise vendors, a bike show and kickoff ride, bike accessories, demonstrations, live entertainment, games and scenic rides.
Admission is free. Parking for vehicles costs $5, but is free for motorcycles at the Meridian Road entrance to the grounds.
To open the event, the Alliance of Bikers Aimed Towards Education A.B.A.T.E. will host a kick-off ride on July 22 at 6 p.m.
The ride will benefit the Butler County Veterans In Need, a nonprofit organization that collects and distributes funds to assist veterans and their families during financial emergencies.
There is no registration fee to participate but donations to Butler County Veterans In Need are encouraged. A.B.A.T.E. is also organizing the rides and bike games.
This year’s Butler Bikes & BBQ will feature a myriad of hands-on activities and opportunities to see all types of motorcycles and demonstrations. Vendor applications and sponsorships are still being accepted.
