Carl Stanley Rodgers Jr., 84, passed away at Quality Life Services in Grove City on Sunday, April 24, 2022, following a short illness.

Carl was born July 15, 1937, in Worth Township, Butler County, and was the son of Carl Stanley Rodgers Sr. and Harriet Badger Rodgers.

He married Norma Lucille Cornelius, who survives at the residence. Carl graduated from high school and was a lifelong farmer and truck driver. He hauled concrete, always had a smile, was quick witted and had many friends. He and Norma were always together and loved their community. He was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church in Slippery Rock.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

RODGERS — Friends of Carl Stanley Rodgers Jr., who died Sunday, April 24, 2022, will be received at the Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock, from 4 p.m. until the service at 7 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Clark Sawyer of Highland Presbyterian Church presiding.

Interment will follow Thursday morning at Greenlawn Burial Estates in Mt. Chestnut.

Arrangements are by SMITH FUNERAL HOME of Slippery Rock.
