Candidate reports theft of campaign signs
A Butler County candidate running for a seat in the state House of Representatives has reported the theft of her campaign signs.
Jennifer Steele of Summit Township, who is seeking the Republican Party nomination in the May 17 primary to represent the 11th District, went to the state police barracks in Butler on Monday and reported that her campaign signs were stolen from around the county Sunday and Monday.
The locations of where the alleged thefts occurred was not reported, but the signs were valued at $240. Police ask anyone with information about the signs to call the barracks at 724-284-8100.
Steele is challenging incumbent Rep. Marci Mustello for the nomination.
