More than 1,200 Slippery Rock University undergraduates had their degrees conferred at spring commencement ceremonies Saturday at Morrow Field House.

Three ceremonies were held for SRU's four colleges, which include the College of Business, College of Liberal Arts/College of Education, and the College of Health, Engineering and Science.

Larry McCarthy, assistant professor of accounting, economics and finance, served as grand marshal for each ceremony.

Michael Zieg, acting SRU provost, presented candidates for degrees, as did the deans of the respective colleges.

Each graduate received four tickets for family and friends to attend commencement, and the event was livestreamed for those without tickets.

A livestream of commencement also was played at four locations around campus.
