The latest in primary election results for Butler County

11:08 p.m.

With Lawrence County unoffical results in, Aaron Bernstine will win the 8th House District seat.

Bernstine won the race with 5,523 votes. John Kennedy received the most votes in Butler County, but he trailed with 4,239 total. Eric DiTullio received 853 votes total.

10:53 p.m.

Based on final unoffical results in Butler County, John Kennedy leads in the race for the Republican representative in the 8th district. Note that this race includes out-of-county votes that are yet to be tabulated.

According to final unofficial election results, Stephenie Scialabba is the winner in the race for Republican representative in the 12th district.

Pennsylvania Democrats gave their nominee for governor his choice for second-in-command on Tuesday, selecting state Rep. Austin Davis to be their lieutenant governor candidate in the fall election.

All 89 precincts are now reporting.

Marci Mustello has won the race for Republican Representative in the 11th legislative district. She defeated her opponent with 7,458 votes.

Her opponent Jennifer Steele had 2,490 votes.

With 88 of 89 total precincts reporting in Butler County, Stephenie Scialabba appears to be the winner in the race for Republican representative in the 12th district.

Doug Mastriano won the Republican nomination for Pennsylvania governor on Tuesday, beating eight other candidates and a party establishment that had tried to head off his nomination over fears that he is too extreme to win the general election in the presidential battleground.

Mastriano, a retired U.S. Army colonel and state senator since 2019 who was endorsed by former President Donald Trump, will face Democrat Josh Shapiro in the November election.

At this time, 55 precincts are reporting in Butler County. There are 89 precincts total.

At this time, 47 of 89 precincts are reporting in Butler County.

36 precincts are now reporting. The county has also posted its summary results, which combine the results from all county precincts.

Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. John Fetterman has won the state’s Democratic primary for U.S. Senate just days after suffering a stroke.

The 52-year-old Fetterman defeated U.S. Rep. Conor Lamb and state Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta on Tuesday to advance to November’s general election. He will face the winner of a hotly contested Republican primary that includes Dr. Mehmet Oz, ex-hedge fund CEO David McCormick and community activist Kathy Barnette.

The unofficial results from the first precincts in Butler County have been posted. Results are in from Donegal Twp., Franklin Twp. and Summit Twp. S.

These results show Marci Mustello leading for the Republican representative in the 11th House District and Aaron Bernstine leading as the Republican Representative for the 8th House District.

As voters will made their selections today at the polls, they made them based on the new legislative districts. Here's the new map for Butler County.
