Police Reports
The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:
May 12 — Julia A. Shebek, 61, of Gibsonia, was charged with two first offenses for driving under the influence and a misdemeanor for fighting after police said she crashed her vehicle and showed signs of impairment on Route 228. Shebek was found unresponsive but uninjured after crashing her vehicle and tried to kick officers as she was being arrested.
May 19 — Matthew Maier, 39, of Butler, was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and harassment after he allegedly shoved an officer who responded to a civil dispute in Old Plank Estates and resisted arrest.
May 4 — A 13-year-old male student was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after police responded to a report of a student with a small amount of marijuana at Butler Intermediate High School.
May 10 — Hailey A. Haney, 29, of Ellwood City, was charged with misdemeanor theft after police said she stole an iPhone from the park on Ernie Mashuda Drive.
May 10 — Jerome E. Mulligan, 40, of Seven Fields, was charged with misdemeanors disorderly conduct, harassment and terroristic threats after police said he threatened his neighbors multiple times on the evening of May 8. According to charging documents, Mulligan said he was going to kill his neighbors and their family. After being confronted by police, Mulligan then told the neighbors he would have them “taken care of.”
May 13 — Alfredo Diaz, 62, of Mars, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and harassment after police said he struck someone with an open hand during an argument.
May 17 — Timothy Hindman, 63, of Boyers, was charged with a misdemeanor charge of hit and run and summary traffic violations on Route 8 in Slippery Rock Township.
May 16 — Nicholas J. Stockert, 29, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor DUIs and multiple traffic citations after police said he showed signs of impairment during field sobriety tests conducted on Pine Drive in Center Township.
May 16 — Mark S. Cooper Jr., 39, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault after police said he was in a verbal altercation, grabbed a pistol and readied it to fire.
May 12 — Connor M. Wescoat, 19, of Pleasantville, was charged with three misdemeanor DUIs and several traffic citations after police said he showed signs of impairment during a traffic stop conducted on Pleasant Valley Road in Muddy Creek Township. Following a later blood test, Wescoat’s blood-alcohol content level was .025% and there was a presence of marijuana, according to documents. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is .08%
May 12 — Eugene R. Somogy, 45, of Fenelton, was charged with two misdemeanor DUIs, misdemeanors of use and possession of drug paraphernalia and recklessly endangering another person, and several traffic citations after police said he showed signs of impairment after crashing his vehicle at Carbon Center Road and Game Reserve Road in Clearfield Township. Police said a 14-year-old juvenile was in the vehicle and transported to Butler Memorial Hospital for injuries.
According to charging documents, Somogy was transported to Allegheny General Hospital and suspected methamphetamine and a smoking pipe were located inside of his jacket in the ambulance; following a blood test, traces of methamphetamine were found in Somogy’s blood.
