Kittanning man charged with homicide related to Sunday shooting
Nicholas Alexander Fortuna, 24, of Kittanning, is charged with homicide in relation to a shooting Sunday night in North Buffalo Township, Armstrong County.
A news release from state police said they responded to 251 Wilson Road in North Buffalo Township at around 10:25 p.m. Sunday for an altercation that a caller said involved gunfire.
Jonathon Blackburn, 23, of Worthington, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Armstrong County coroner, after allegedly being shot by Fortuna.
The state police Troop D major case team also responded to the scene to further investigate the incident and surrounding circumstances.
