Just about everyone needs their caffeine fix.

Angela and Peter Kupas are trying to fill that need with their new business on Main Street in Butler.

Vintage Coffeehouse opened its doors Monday and the Kupases are excited to be part of the local coffee market.

“We’ve been busy and steady,” Angela said. “I felt like we got good feedback. The community has been so supportive.”

“My husband and I love coffee. Anywhere we’ve gone, we’ll always find a coffee shop that we want to try. We said if we ever want to open up a business, this is what we want to do.”

Part of the business plan was to address the need for coffee in the evening, when most coffee shops close for the day.

“Our goal was always to create a space for in the evening,” Angela said. “We want people to hang out, socialize, whatever. Through our experience, we go out somewhere to dinner then want coffee after, and everyone is closed, so we wanted to claim that space.”

Angela said, so far, their most popular drink is the Berry White Latte.

The drink is blackberry flavored with white chocolate and espresso, Angela said.

Vintage Coffeehouse is located at 209 S. Main St. in Butler. Hours are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
