One person was flown to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh late Saturday morning following a motorcycle crash on Whitestown Road west of Eagle Mill Road.

The exact cause of the crash is still under investigation, but it was reported the motorcyclist struck a tree when he failed to make a turn.

No others were involved in the crash.

Prospect and Connoquenessing fire departments responded to the scene shortly after 11 a.m., and the victim was reported to be in critical condition by Prospect Volunteer Fire Department Captain Greg Parker.
