2 helicopters assist Unionville Road crash
FRANKLIN TWP — Two people were transported by helicopter and another was transported by ambulance after a Friday afternoon crash at the intersection of Unionville and Isle Roads, authorities said.
A white Honda Pilot and an orange SUV both sustained front-end damage and were towed from the scene of the crash, which occurred just before 4 p.m.
The two people transported by helicopter were taken to a hospital to be treated for moderate injuries.
According to a Butler Ambulance Service representative, the state police are in the process of investigating the crash.
Unionville Volunteer Fire Company, Prospect Borough/Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Department, Butler Ambulance Service and state police responded to the incident.
