Summer fun will arrive again in Seven Fields during the Community Days carnival this upcoming week.

Running evenings from June 9 to 11, the festival features live music from bands Shell Shocked, Street Level and Velveeta.

Visitors can enjoy carnival rides from C&L Shows, food and beer concessions, and round out the event with a fireworks show on Saturday night. The event is located at Seven Fields Town Park at 380 Castle Creek Drive.

Tickets for the carnival rides are $20 for a ride-all-day pass or $3 per individual ride.

“I think really this year, with COVID seeming to be behind us, I think people are more than ever anxious to get out and enjoy,” said borough manager Tom Smith.

Last year’s numbers were a little more than expected, he said, though rain put a damper on the beginning of the celebration. This year, Smith says, the weather forecast looks promising.

“This is open to residents and non-residents alike,” Smith said. “It’s an excellent community event for neighbors to go out and spend time. It’s a fun-filled family event, and an opportunity for us to showcase our community.”
