Helen Schubert

Helen V. (McCall) Schubert, 96, of Renfrew, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Chicora Medical Center.

Born in Clarion, Pa., on March 15, 1926, she was the daughter of the late John C. McCall and Leila G. (Fowler) McCall.

Helen was a member of White Oak Springs Presbyterian Church, where she served as a deacon for many years. She was also a member of Connoquenessing Fireman’s Ladies Auxiliary.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Virginia (Arthur) Pryor, of Slippery Rock; her son, Rodney L. Schubert, of Renfrew; one brother, Charles L. McCall, of Renfrew; one sister, Mary Kriebel, of Hermitage; one grandson, Justin; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Schubert, who passed away on Jan. 3, 1998; two brothers and two sisters.

SCHUBERT — All are invited to join the family for a visitation for Helen V. (McCall) Schubert, who died Saturday, June 4, 2022, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St. Butler.

A funeral service will immediately follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Bob Edmundson officiating.

Interment will take place at Butler County Memorial Park.
