Christine Lynn

Christine M. Lynn, 69, of Marshall Township, Warrendale, passed away Monday evening, June 6, 2022. She passed away peacefully on her own terms in the company of the love of her life for the last 49 years and her dogs on her lap.

Born in Pittsburgh, on July 31, 1952, she was the daughter of Philip M. Cardone and the late Betty Fitzgerald Cardone.

She was the beloved wife of David H. Lynn, whom she married on Nov. 18, 1972; devoted mother of Erin Angelo (Daniel) of Gibsonia, Jennifer Hart (Tom) of Sarver, and Jaime Bell (Timothy) of Sewickley; loving Nana of Samantha, John, Nathan, Luke, Jacob, Mackenzie and Charlotte; the daughter of Philip M. Cardone of Murraysville; sister of Phyllis Macioce (Tony) of Irwin, Margaret Hoye (Keith) of Medina, Ohio, and the late Philip Cardone Jr.; and sister-in-law of Patty Cardone of Export.

Christine had been an elementary secretary for Muhlenberg School District in Reading, Pa.

She was a member of St. Kilian Church, where she was a Eucharistic minister.

Chris was the friendliest and kindest person you’d ever meet. She would welcome you into her home and insist on feeding you a meal with a smile on her face.

She was lovingly referred to as “Nana” by her grandkids, who were the center of her universe.

“We Love You to Heaven and Back,” Chris, Mom and Nana.

LYNN — Friends and family of Christine M. Lynn, who died Monday, June 6, 2022, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. The family requests that masks be worn.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Road, Cranberry Township, with the Rev. Charles Bober, pastor, officiating. Please meet at the church.

Burial will be in Holy Savior Cemetery, Richland Township.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the ALS Association of Western Pennsylvania, 416 Lincoln Ave., Millvale, PA 15209.
