Arlene M. Conley, 79, of Cranberry Township, passed away on Saturday morning, June 11, 2022, at Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.

Born in McKeesport, on Aug. 3, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Bernard “Red” and Eleanor “Nora” Sauter Donnelly. She was raised in Carnegie/Heidelberg. She attended St. Luke’s for her education and lived mostly in the surrounding Pittsburgh area, with Cranberry Township being her home for the last 35 years.

Arlene was a member of St. Ferdinand’s Church in Cranberry Township. She also volunteered with the Cranberry Historical Society, doing tours of the Schoolhouse.

She will be remembered for her kind, compassionate spirit and her infectious laugh.

She was a wonderful wife to Paul Conley Sr. and helped run their restaurant together from 1974-84. After a brief stint in Florida, she returned to Pittsburgh and worked for Allstate Insurance until her retirement.

Arlene is survived by sons, Harold “Mickey” Hewitt (Tracy) of Georgia and Michael Conley (Heather) of Mars; a daughter, Renee DeWitt (Michael) of Arkansas; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Kathleen Bado (George) of Heidelberg and Maureen Donnelly of Florida; four brothers, Denny Donnelly (Maureen) and Bernie Donnelly (Linda), both of Heidelberg, and Timothy Donnelly (Marion) and Patrick Donnelly, both of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Conley Sr.; and her son, Paul Conley Jr.

CONLEY — Arrangements for Arlene M. Conley, who died Saturday, June 11, 2022, are private under the direction of the MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

Burial will be at Robinson Run Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
