Joseph Serventi Jr.

Serventi

Joseph Mark Serventi Jr., 58, a longtime resident of Cranberry Township, passed away unexpectedly June 13, 2022.

Joe or “Joey,” as he was more commonly known by his family and longtime friends, was born in Butler, in 1964, and was the son of Joseph and the late Gloria (Simmers) Serventi.

Joe is survived by his children, Joseph (Jess) Serventi, and Dominic and Anthony Serventi; as well as his brother, Anthony “Tony” Serventi.

He was well-known in his hometown as a successful businessman with a big personality and a great laugh. He worked alongside his mother, Gloria, at Serventi’s Restaurant for many years, serving the community of Butler with some great Italian food and fun times.

Joe made an impact on everyone who crossed his path, and had many roles throughout his life — son, brother, nephew, husband, brother-in-law, uncle, boss, coach, friend and, most importantly, as a proud and loving father. He spent much of his time over many years pacing a countless number of sidelines, courtsides and ball fields during the sporting events of his three boys. The bleachers were not an option. Coach Serventi gave a lot of advice, even when he wasn’t coaching, because he was always in coach mode.

Whatever the role, whatever path he crossed in your life, everyone will agree that he is undoubtedly gone too soon. May he rest in peace.
