Traveling Tomb replica in Zelie
The Traveling Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Replica is open for visitation at Four Corners Park in Zelienople over the Fourth of July holiday.
The replica came to Zelienople from a two-day stop in Boardman, Ohio, on a nationwide tour that is based in Georgia. On Friday, it was welcomed to the borough by a police and motorcycle escort.
The replica will remain in the park until Tuesday.
Visitors to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Replica also will be able to view the Wall of Honor behind the tomb’s outdoor display, according to a news release from Armstrong, which facilitated the tour stop in Zelienople.
