1 hospitalized after rollover crash

CRANBERRY TWP — One person was taken to Allegheny General Hospital with injuries after a one-car rollover accident on Interstate 79 southbound Monday afternoon.

State Police Trooper Nicholas Dahlstrom said first responders received the call at approximately 4:15 p.m.

Traffic was slowed but not stopped, he added. The accident occurred near mile marker 80.4.

The vehicle was in the process of being removed by tow truck at 5:10 p.m. and was off the roadway.

State Police, Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company and Cranberry EMS responded to the incident.
