Richard and JoAnn Ordy of Butler celebrated 60 years of marriage on July 16 with a dinner at Bravo Italian Kitchen in Cranberry, followed by a reception at their daughter’s home.

Richard Ordy married the former JoAnn Johnson on July 14, 1962, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They have three children, Linda (Patrick) Halloran of Pittsburgh; Susan (Steve) Balog of Cranberry Township; and Karen (Dennis) Reep of Butler.

They also have seven grandchildren and one late grandson.

Richard is a retired letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service. He is a member of St. Andrew Orthodox Church, Lyndora.

JoAnn is retired from the Butler School District, where she worked in food service. She is a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
