Gail Flatley

Gail Elizabeth Flatley, 78, of Cranberry Township, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born May 5, 1944, she was a daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (Weaver) Weber.

She was the beloved wife of the late James Flatley; loving mother of Gretchen (Mike) Flockerzi and Jimmy (Jeri) Flatley; and sister of Marlene (Don) King and Ken (Darlene) Weber.

She also is survived by her caregiver and special friend, Joe Doyle.

In addition to her parents, Gail was preceded in death by her sisters-in-law, Barb and Lois.

In her early years before becoming a devoted mother, she worked for Allegheny General Hospital. After raising her children, she started a career at Eat’n Park, which spanned 17 years. Upon hanging up her apron, she retired to her recliner and TV set. Being a devoted Pittsburgh girl, she spent many hours watching her hometown teams.

After a short break from work and persistent nagging from her daughter, she became involved and spent many years enjoying activities and many friends at the Cranberry Township Senior Center. Bingo, slots and bus trips were pastimes of hers, covering many miles with Helen Morrow, Carol Jean Keefer and Bonnie Weaver.

She had a soft spot for her Australian shepherds, Dally and Dutchess.
