File Photo

State police arrested two men from Michigan who they said traveled to Butler County to steal specific models of an expensive car.

Police filed charges Wednesday against Dorale L. Doyle, 40, of Southfield, Mich., and Ladon R. Rogers, 39, of Allen Park, Mich., each including three counts of felony conspiracy to commit theft.

Both men were arraigned Wednesday morning before District Judge Kevin O’Donnell, who placed them in Butler County Prison, in lieu $100,000 bond each.

Police received a tip July 20 from a Michigan law enforcement agency that the pair would be targeting Hellcat model vehicles while driving in a 2004 GMC Sierra with a specific Michigan license plate.

According to Kelley Blue Book, a newer model Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat can range from $68,000 to $84,000, and a Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat can range from $77,000 to $86,000.
